天津科技大学食品科学与工程学院位于天津市滨海新区,毗邻滨海—中关村科技园、国际医药研究院,为助力学院人才培养、科技成果转化、创新创业发展搭建了良好的平台。
学院始建于1958年,是我国最早建立食品科学与工程学科的院系之一。拥有食品科学与工程一级学科博士学位授权点和一级学科硕士学位授权点,公共卫生与预防医学一级学科硕士学位授权点,生物医药专业博士学位授权点,2个专业硕士学位授权点以及博士后流动站,本科设有食品科学与工程、食品质量与安全、食品营养与健康3个本科专业,拥有2个国家级一流专业,连续4次通过国家工程教育认证、2次通过美国IFT认证,现有本科生1646名,研究生1144名。
学科建设
学院将以学科发展为引领,其中食品科学与工程获重点支持并入选教育部优先发展学科,天津市一流学科、天津市“重中之重”建设学科、天津市高校顶尖学科培育计划、天津市服务产业特色学科群核心学科。第四轮、第五轮学科评估中,本学科整体水平位列B+。“软科世界一流学科排名”食品学科排名第27位,U.S.NEWS世界大学食品学科评价排名第38位。本学科所发文章被引贡献度排名第一,论文高产出及高影响力作者TOP20中,有15位为学院本学科教师。
师资力量
学院不断深化教师人事制度改革,已建成一支学缘结构多元、梯队层次合理的高水平师资队伍,现有教职工145人,专任教师108人,其中教授38名,副教授50名。90%以上教师具有博士学位,80%以上教师具有国外留学、工作和交流经历。拥有国际、国家级人选等国际和国家级人才17人次;天津市特聘教授、天津市教学名师、天津市131创新型人才培养工程第一层次人选等省部级人才41人次。6位教师入选2022年全球2%顶尖科学家。为高层次人才培养和科学研究奠定了坚实基础。
人才培养
学院坚持以学生为中心,全面落实立德树人根本任务,积极推进质量工程建设和教育教学改革,取得明显成效。近年来,学院师生在各种创新创业竞赛中取得了显著的成绩,学生先后在“挑战杯”、“中国国际大学生创新大赛”等竞赛中荣获国家级、省部级奖励80余项,在第一届全国博士后创新创业大赛中荣获国家金奖1项、银奖1项,在国际知名期刊发表论文数百篇,涌现出了中国大学生自强之星标兵、全国高校百名研究生党员、天津青年五四奖章获得者、感动校园天津市大学生年度人物、标兵等优秀研究生。
科学研究
学院勇担行业中坚,提升服务国计民生水平,建有食品营养与安全国家重点实验室、食品科学国家级实验教学示范中心、食品营养与安全和药物化学国际科技合作基地等6个国家级教学科研平台;教育部食品生物技术工程研究中心、工信部食品企业质量安全检测技术示范中心、天津市食品质量与健康重点实验室等19个省部级科研教学平台;与国内多家知名企业建立战略联盟,共建多个企业实践基地。
学院实验面积1.5万平方米,建有10个科研团队和一个公共分析平台,实验设备总值超过1.1亿元人民币。此外,由学校、学院及国家重点实验室共建的分析测试中心与学院位于“逸夫楼”同一建筑,拥有近3000多平方米实验室,拥有球差电子显微镜、透射电子显微镜、离子阱飞行时间串联质谱仪、核磁共振波谱仪、基质辅助激光解析电离飞行时间质谱仪等50多台套大型精密仪器,资产值过亿元,为食品安全研究及其他分析测试前沿科学研究提供了充分的设备条件。

College of Food Science and Engineering ,founded in 1958, is one of the earliest departments establishing the discipline of food science and engineering in China. College has food science and engineering level discipline doctoral degree authorization and first-level discipline master's degree authorization, public health and preventive medicine level discipline master degree authorization, biomedical professional doctorate authorization, food processing and safety and biological medicine two professional master's degree authorization, food science and engineering level discipline postdoctoral station. Among them, food science and engineering is the first-class discipline of Tianjin, the "top priority" construction discipline of Tianjin, the top discipline cultivation plan of Tianjin universities, and the core discipline of Tianjin service industry characteristic discipline group. There are three undergraduate majors: food Science and Engineering, Food Quality and Safety, and Food Nutrition and Health.
