The Food Science College has systematically planned 2025's key tasks with overall coordination and preemptive arrangements

On the morning of February 18th, Vice President Wang Min went to the College of Food Science and Engineering to listen to the report on the key tasks of the college in 2025. The heads of functional departments such as the Party Committee (President's) Office, the Organization Department, the Personnel Department, the Academic Affairs Office, the Science and Technology Office, the Graduate School, the International Exchange Office, and the Youth League Committee, as well as representatives from their respective departments, and all members of the leadership team of the Food College attended the meeting.

At the meeting, Vice President Wang Min expressed his approval of the key tasks that the college had planned and sorted out. She proposed that 2025 is the first year to implement the spirit of the Fourth Party Congress of the university and comprehensively build a high-level research university. It is also the year to conclude the 14th Five-Year Plan and plan the 15th Five-Year Plan, and a crucial year for the in-depth advancement of the "Pioneer Plan". As a key college with a priority development discipline of the university, the College of Food Science and Technology should, first of all, further enhance its political stance, plan and consider the work of the college within the overall context of the university's comprehensive construction of a high-level research university, and ensure close connection. Second, we must apply precise efforts in our work, further sort out the fundamental, key and outstanding tasks, refine measures, solidify responsibilities, and strive to achieve tangible results. Third, it is necessary to establish a mindset of unity from top to bottom, proactively enhance communication and collaboration with the school's functional departments, accurately grasp the key points and ideas of the school's work, coordinate efforts from top to bottom, form a synergy, maintain the development advantages of the college, and be a pioneer and banner for the high-quality and connotative development of the school.

At the meeting, Du Xinjun, the Party Secretary of the college, on behalf of the leadership team, reported on the key tasks of the college for 2025. Each functional department, in light of the key tasks and division of labor of the school's work, put forward guiding suggestions for the college's work over the past 25 years, and the participants had in-depth exchanges.

In the next stage, the College of Food Science and Technology will further improve its key tasks for the next 25 years based on the feedback from this meeting. The leadership team of the college will adhere to setting a good example and getting involved in the work. They will accurately convey pressure and effectively stimulate motivation based on the work tasks and goals, and lead the teachers and students of the college to unify their thoughts, understanding and actions with the implementation of the arrangements of the school's Party congress. They will strive to create a new situation in the development of the college and successfully complete all the tasks for 25 years.
