To enhance the educational effectiveness of integrating education and industry, and to promote the deep integration of theoretical knowledge with production practice, in line with the educational philosophy of "unity of knowledge and action, integration of work and study", from May 21st to 22nd, the School of Food Science and Engineering of Tianjin University of Science and Technology organized all undergraduate students of the Food Science and Engineering major of the 2025 batch to conduct an enterprise cognition practical activity at the Yihaijiali Tianjin Enterprise Cluster located in Tianjin Port Free Trade Zone. The students had a close-up understanding of the entire process of modern grain and food processing, and immersed themselves in experiencing the technological charm and corporate responsibility of the food industry.

Guided by the professional explanatory speaker from Yihaijiali, the students first visited the science popularization corridor meticulously created by the company. This corridor， which combines knowledge， fun and interactivity， is like a vivid encyclopedia of grains and oils. From the "past and present" of a single grain of rice and a single soybean， to the birth journey of a drop of oil and a bag of flour； from the development history of China's grain and oil industry to the corporate mission of Yihaijiali Group "to create food for a safe world's dining table"， the explanatory speaker used various forms such as graphic displays， process demonstrations and product samples to explain in an easy-to-understand way the knowledge about the raw materials， processing principles， nutritional components and product matrix of grains and oils.

Subsequently, the students entered the iconic "Transparent Factory". Passing through the spacious and bright glass corridor, they could fully appreciate the neat and orderly production workshop. On the fully automated production line, from the blow molding of the bottle base, precise filling, adding the cap and sealing, to labeling and packaging, the entire process was seamless, with hardly any human intervention. The product can be traced throughout the entire process. Through visiting the "Transparent Factory", the students not only could understand the operation mode of the related industrial chain, but also could personally experience the automation, intelligence and standardization of the production workshop, and appreciate the advanced management concepts and cultural charm of the enterprise.

After the on-site observation, the students went to the enterprise training classroom and watched the official promotional video of Yihai Jiali. The video systematically presented the development history, industrial layout, core technologies, brand building, social responsibility and scientific and technological innovation achievements of the enterprise. It comprehensively demonstrated the large-scale, specialized and international development pattern of domestic leading grain and food enterprises, enabling the students to have a holistic understanding of the industry scale, development potential and innovation direction of the grain and food sector.

After the viewing, the person in charge of the school-enterprise cooperation of Yihai Jiali gave a special presentation to the students. Based on the actual development of the enterprise, he elaborated in detail on the industrial positioning of the Tianjin enterprise cluster, core product lines, production operation models, scientific and technological innovation systems, quality control standards, as well as related situations such as school-enterprise cooperation, talent cultivation, internships and employment. At the same time, based on the current development trend of the food industry, he deeply analyzed industry demands and talent cultivation standards, encouraging the students to solidify their professional foundation, delve deeply into the food field, persist in innovation exploration, and actively engage in the food industry.

This visit to the Tianjin enterprise group of Yihaijiali is an important measure taken by the Food Science and Engineering College of Tianjin University of Science and Technology to implement the "Pioneer Plan" and the "3510 Strategic Project", and to deepen the cooperation between the university and enterprises and innovate the talent training model. The college will continue to maintain close cooperation with industry leaders such as Yihaijiali, and continuously expand practical teaching resources, in order to cultivate more high-quality professionals with innovative spirit and practical ability for the food industry.
