The College of Food Science and Engineering held the opening ceremony of the 2024 Young Marxist Project Training Class and the closing ceremony of the 7th College Student Backbone Training Class at 12:30 on October 23rd in the Second lecture hall of the Intermediate Court Library.
The meeting pointed out that the "Project for Cultivating Young Marxists" is an important strategic measure aimed at fostering young backbone members. The Youth League Committee of the college, in line with the deployment of the Pioneer Plan and in light of the characteristics of each grade, The Young Marxist Project Training Class has been reorganized into three levels: the Young Seedling Class (for first-year undergraduate students), the Advanced Class (for second-year undergraduate students and first-year postgraduate students), and the Pioneer Class (for third-year undergraduate students and second-year postgraduate students). Specialized instructors have been hired to form an integrated and continuous training program for non-graduating student leaders. At the same time, the training objectives, training content, selection conditions, and management, elimination and assessment mechanisms have been further standardized.
Zhang Yanbin, the secretary of the Youth League Committee, pointed out at the meeting that participating in the Young Marxist Project Class is a rare opportunity for learning and growth. He hopes that the students will further strengthen their ideals and beliefs and become firm believers in Marxism. Strengthen the combination of theory and practice, and be a doer who integrates knowledge with action. Be courageous in taking on responsibilities and making achievements, and be a striver in the new era. It is hoped that through the study in the Young Marxist Training Class, all students can continuously improve their ideological and political qualities and comprehensive abilities, and become new era youth with ideals, a sense of responsibility, the ability to endure hardships and the willingness to strive.
The 7th Bone Training Class successfully completed its training tasks. Certificates were awarded to the outstanding students of the 7th Bone Training Class, and appointment letters were also presented to the mentors of the new batch of the Young Marxist Project's Young Talent Training Class.
