Food Science College Held a Lecture on Establishing Correct Values and Becoming a Qualified College Student

In order to implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and the Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee, and to fully carry out the "Pioneer Plan" action of our university, and to educate and guide students to firmly hold onto their ideals and beliefs and establish correct values, the College of Food Science successfully held a theme lecture activity titled "Establish Correct Values and Be a Qualified College Student Needed by the Country" on March 21st. We are honored to have Professor Xue Ding, the chairman and Party branch secretary of Tianjin Lianbo Chemical Co., Ltd. and a counselor appointed by the college, as the keynote speaker for this event.

In the lecture, Professor Xue Ding delved deeply into three core topics, elaborating in detail on what constitutes correct values, what a qualified college student is, and what the country needs. He encouraged the students to actively engage in the development of the country and emphasized that adhering to the leadership of the Communist Party of China is the basic principle. In addition, Professor Xue Ding elaborated on the elements of kindness, honesty and responsibility. He emphasized that honesty not only means being sincere to oneself but also to others. In daily life, one should achieve unity of knowledge and action, never make promises lightly and always keep them. Finally, Professor Xue encouraged the students to hold firm to their beliefs and forge ahead bravely when facing difficulties and challenges, and strive to become qualified college students needed by the country.

After the lecture, the students all expressed that they were deeply inspired and had a deeper understanding of the responsibilities they shoulder. The college will continue to carry out a variety of ideological and political education activities to help students grow comprehensively.
