On the morning of January 15th, Tianjin University of Science and Technology and Shanghai Kangshi Food Technology Co., Ltd. (a joint innovation research center of Kangshifu Holdings Co., Ltd.) held a cooperation exchange meeting at the Binhai Campus. The two parties signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement and jointly inaugurated the "Healthy Food Joint Innovation Center". Vice President and President of Tianjin University of Science and Technology, Lu Fuping, and Director of the Central Research Institute of Kangshifu Holdings Co., Ltd., Zhong Guoxing, attended the ceremony and delivered speeches. Director of the Beverage Research Center of Kangshifu Holdings Co., Ltd., Li Guohua, the External Liaison Manager of the Central Research Institute, Zou Xin, the Manager of the Basic Science Department of the Central Research Institute, and the main responsible officials and some experts and professors from our university's School of Food Science and Engineering participated in the event.

Lu Fuping pointed out that Kangshifu is an indispensable strategic partner for the school's construction of an innovation community in the field of food. The school, relying on solid scientific research accumulation, cross-disciplinary and integrated discipline layout, and practical talent cultivation system, through the collaborative model of "enterprise setting the question, university and enterprise jointly answering", realizes the organic combination of scientific research innovation and talent cultivation. We look forward to taking the joint innovation center as a new starting point, working together to build a benchmark for deep integration of industry-university-research, and jointly contribute greater wisdom and strength to meeting the people's aspiration for a better life and promoting the high-quality development and technological progress of China's food and beverage industry.

Zhong Guoxing highly praised the scientific research strength and talent contribution of Tianjin University of Science and Technology in the field of food. He introduced the development overview of Kangshifu and Shanghai Kangshi Food Technology Co., Ltd., and pointed out that in response to the transformation trend of the food industry towards health and functionality, the development of enterprises needs more intellectual support from universities than ever before. He stated that Kangshifu is moving towards a goal of a hundred-billion-dollar scale and internationalization, and looks forward to both parties adhering to the principles of "deepening cooperation, common development, building a win-win situation, and creating a new situation", relying on the joint innovation center, conducting practical cooperation in functional product research, food safety, nutrition and health basic research fields, and jointly telling "healthy stories" based on scientific evidence, creating a new situation of collaborative innovation between the university and the enterprise.

At the meeting, the Party Secretary and Principal of the School of Food Science and Engineering, Du Xingjun, and Director of the Beverage Research Center of Kangshifu Holdings Co., Ltd., Li Guohua, signed the framework cooperation agreement on behalf of both parties, and Lu Fuping and Zhong Guoxing jointly inaugurated the "Healthy Food Joint Innovation Center".

During the meeting, the College of Food Science and Engineering conducted in-depth business with the enterprise side. Ding Sheng, the manager of the Basic Science Department of the Central Research Institute of King's Cup Holdings Limited, detailedly introduced the enterprise's technical requirements; Professor Tang Yao from the College of Food introduced the previous cooperation research results and expressed that they would spare no effort to complete the future cooperation projects between the two sides， contributing to the implementation of the all-round strategic cooperation between the two sides. Professor Yang Rui reported and exchanged on the latest research results of the team and potential cooperation projects.

After the meeting， Zhong Guoxing and his team visited the National Key Laboratory of Food Nutrition and Safety jointly established by the provincial and ministerial authorities. They learned in detail about the platform construction of the university in the fields of food safety detection and research on nutritional health mechanisms.

This signing and unveiling ceremony marks the entry of Tianjin University of Science and Technology and ConAgra Holdings Co., Ltd. into a new stage of in-depth and wide-ranging cooperation. In the future, both parties will fully leverage the bridging and connecting role of the "Healthy Food Joint Innovation Center", further promoting the organic connection of the education chain, talent chain, industry chain, and innovation chain, jointly cultivating new quality productive forces in the food industry, and injecting new momentum into the comprehensive construction of the university as a multi-disciplinary, specialized, and high-level research-oriented university.
