Good News! Food Science Students Won 1 Gold & 1 Silver in Tianjin's 2nd National College Students' Career Planning Competition Final.

Recently, the final of the second National College Students' Career Planning Competition in Tianjin, themed "Jinsheng Youyuan, Zhiyin Fujian", which was hosted by the Municipal Education Commission and organized by Tianjin Normal University and Tianjin Business College, came to a successful conclusion. Students from our college achieved an outstanding result of one gold and one silver medal.
This competition attracted over 237,000 students from 52 universities across the city to participate enthusiastically. After rounds of selection through the school-level competition and the semi-final, 42 contestants stood out and advanced to the final of the higher education group. Two contestants from our college made it to the final. After a fierce competition on the spot, Liu Zihao and Ye Jian, two undergraduate students from the 2022 grade of the Food College, won the gold award in the Growth Track and the silver award in the Employment Track respectively.
This year's competition, with the theme of "Building Dreams in Youth, Aiming Far and Wide, Planning and Setting Sail for Career Development", focuses on establishing a dual-wheel drive system of "career empowerment" and "employment breakthrough". By deepening the collaborative education mechanism of industry-education integration, it aims to enhance the practical effectiveness of career education in colleges and universities. The event closely aligns with national strategic demands, focuses on cultivating the core professional qualities of college students in the new era, and builds a high-quality platform for young students to comprehensively showcase their career planning abilities and enhance their employment competitiveness.
This competition is not only a practical platform to test students' career development capabilities, but also a touchstone for the quality of talent cultivation in the college.
