In order to thoroughly implement the relevant requirements of "ideological and political soul-casting" in the Pioneer Program, establish the leading role of pioneer role models, carry forward the spirit of pioneer role models, and build a bridge for communication between students and pioneer role models, the College of Food Science and Engineering successfully held the 2024 College of Food Science and Engineering "Pioneer Leading the Way" event at 20:30 on November 18th in the third-floor classroom of the library. The "Building Dreams for the Future" Role Model Lecture on Student Work Special Event. This sharing session was presented by Li Yichen and Heng Jing, providing valuable suggestions and guidance to the student cadres present.
During the presentation, the two speakers first introduced their experiences as student cadres and briefly expounded on what it means to be a student cadre. Secondly, the core content introduced by the two speakers was: how to balance the time between study, research and work. The following five valuable suggestions were put forward for student cadres: First, do not regard student work as a burden. Second, make good plans for study and student affairs. Third, make the most of your time. Only by putting in effort can you reap rewards. Fourth, learn to ask for help, humbly seek advice from others, and actively seek assistance. Fifth, learn to collaborate as a team and trust your team. In addition, Senior Li Yichen also introduced from three aspects: opportunities, abilities and values what participating in student work can bring to us, and suggested that students should not be mentally exhausted. Senior Hengjing also put forward suggestions on how to study efficiently and particularly emphasized the importance of academic performance.
With this, the "Pioneer Leading the Way, Dreaming of the Future" model student work special event of the College of Food Science and Engineering has come to a successful conclusion. This lecture provided valuable suggestions for the student cadres of the Food College, guided their future work and helped them clarify the direction of their future work. Meanwhile, this activity has promoted the implementation of our school's "Pioneer Program" and laid a solid foundation for cultivating innovative talents. Finally, I hope that students majoring in food science can be more dedicated, more humble, more meticulous and more sincere, and set off for their own vast ocean of stars!
