Biography
Dr. Jun Guo currently served for Tianjin University of Science & Technology as a Lecturer and Master's tutor. Dr. Guo completed Bachelor Degree and Master Degree in the ShanXiAgriculture University at 2006 and 2009 respectively, and then finished Doctor Degrees from Zhejiang University at 2014.Dr. Guowas also a visiting scholar ofCenter for Plant Molecular Biology (ZMBP), Department of General Genetics, 2011,University of Tübingen, Germany.
Research Interests
Dr. Guostarted his research work on postharvest physiology & pathology since 2006,and thus far has participated in more than 7 projects which research related to Postharvest disease control, Postharvest biocontrol technology and mechanism, molecular aspects of plant-microbe interactions, protein expression and functional analysis, Postharvest Physiological disorders, Postharvest chemical application, and so on. Dr. Guois currently working on (1) regulatory function of transcription factors; (2) Molecular mechanism of inducing fruit resistance using bio-based compounds; (3) MAPK cascadessignaling response pathways in fruit resistance response; (4) phytohormones response and regulation mechanism of inducing fruit resistance; (5) crosstalk between phytohormones signaling pathways and MAPK cascadessignaling; (6) enhancement of biocontrol efficacy ofantagonist yeast and molecular mechanism.
Dr. Guo is also interested in the fields of effects of thermal food processing on the structural, nutritional, and biological properties of proteins and control technology for the hazard in food.
These projects were supported by grants from the National Natural Science Foundation of China,National Key R&DProgram of China, National Science and Technology Major Project, Project of Tianjin Education Commission Scientific Research Plan and the fund of the Beijing Laboratory for Food Quality and Safety.
